Happily married with three children Joe is a JP, REIWA Councillor chairing the finance and risk committee for four years and has in the past served on the old WACAE (now ECU) Council, School Boards and numerous community organisations.
Having experienced the radical dislocation of stepping from the wheelhouse of an ocean going trawler into a University lecture theatre, Joe has a deep and personal experience with the feeling of dislocation between home ownership!
